  • Think Pink Luncheon

    100 Grand Blvd. in Longview


    The fifth Annual Think Pink Luncheon and Fashion Show will include firefighters modeling the hottest Fall trends from Longview stores, a handbag raffle and a meal all emceed by KLTV Anchorwoman Anissa Centers.

    Tickets for the event, which cost $30 per person or $300 for a table of 8 sponsorship, are available  at the Institute for Healthy Living at by calling 903.323.6511. A table sponsorship guarantees that all eight attendees will be able to sit together.

    The handbag raffle will include pink Michael Kors, Antonio Melani, Gianni Bini, and Kate Landry handbags donated by Dillard's and one has $500 hidden inside. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event and prior to the event at the Breast Center at Good Shepherd, the Institute and in the main hospital lobby. Raffle tickets cost $5 each or $20 for five.

    Think Pink benefits the Breast Center at Good Shepherd helping to provide free screenings to women in need of the service.

    Good Shepherd Longview's childbirth preparation class is designed to begin six to eight weeks prior to your due date. This 4-week interactive class provides labor and delivery preparation for the pregnant woman and her partner/coach. Together you will gain knowledge of the birth process and be able to make personal decisions related to your birth experience. 

    October Class Dates: 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27

    Class registration fee is $75 per couple; must register to attend.

    You're invited to attend Good Shepherd - Marshall's premier 2015 fundraising gala, Race to Wellness: Rendezvous in Spain. This year's event is scheduled for Friday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Enoch's Stomp Vineyards and will include live music by The Bluebirds and More. Dinner will include steaks grilled to perfection, Spanish rice extraordinaire, chicken fajitas, and a delicious praline dessert. Live and silent auctions will offer added opportunities to support Good Shepherd Medical Center - Marshall.
