About the Good Shepherd Foundation
The Good Shepherd Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation formed in 1986 to promote the improvement of regional health services by encouraging philanthropic support of the not-for-profit Good Shepherd Medical Center.
The board’s mission, in partnership with Good Shepherd Medical Center, is to promote and provide philanthropic support to fund programs and services, provide community education and ensure that access to quality healthcare services remains available to all persons regardless of ability to pay.
Ways to Give
Memorials, Honorariums, A Star is Born, Grateful Patient Program, Tree of Life Endowment Program and Wings of Hope gifts are meaningful ways to pay tribute to a loved one, friend or care giver
The Institute for Healthy Living Scholarship Program
Planned giving offers tax benefits for contributions received through charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable annuity trusts and estate planning
Gold Rush is the Good Shepherd Longview Guild’s annual fundraiser, which has played a vital role in the development and advancement of such services as the Heart Center, neonatal intensive care unit, Good Shepherd’s Institute for Healthy Living, The Breast Center, the Perinatology Clinic and Women’s Center, Medical Simulation Center of East Texas and Shepherd House
The Good Shepherd Guardian
is the Good Shepherd Foundation's quarterly magazine featuring Good Shepherd news, tips for healthy living and recognizing donations to the Foundation.
All gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
